Mission/Vision

CompuCorps Mentoring /Les Mentors de CompuCorps is a national nonprofit that is a registered as a charity with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (registration #: 86411 9094 RR0001).

Our mission is to research, innovate and apply models for effective charity use of technology. Our charitable purpose is to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charitable organizations in Canada by the provision of technical volunteers, low cost computer services and software as well as technical support and training.

CompuCorps Mentoring, aided by over 250 volunteers, has completed in excess of 100 not for profit projects in an effort to help Canadian charities access and benefits of technology. We are constantly trying to expand our technical capacities in order to meet the increasing need for technology amongst Canadian charities.

Our Aim:

  • To recruit technical volunteers as mentors for nonprofits.
  • To collect and distribute free or low cost software to nonprofits.
  • To provide low cost technology-planning assistance to nonprofits.
  • To collect and share information on technology with nonprofits.
  • To collaborate with for computer access for the disadvantaged.
  • To develop models for technology assistance for nonprofits in Canada.
